Steve, Digging deeper, I think this is an issue a Code "placement". If the ptys# code appears AFTER the opening <para.> Style, the first line of the paragraph will NOT be indented. Whether placed before or after, the # will leave that number of spaces before the second and subsequent lines relative to the left margin of the document.
