Rick,

If you modify the List style by removing the [kps] and [kpe] codes, this problem will go away. I've never understood why these codes are part of the List style, and find that they are, more often than not, a source of annoyance and frustration. In essence, these two codes tell DBT to keep everything within the list on a single page if possible, which means that a heading above the list will force a page break before the list starts.
