Okay, I've been fighting this battle for a while and I'm about ready to
scream! Hope somebody can help.

We have a Express from Enabling. Way back we started having problems and we
eventually sent the Express back to be checked. It came back and we
embossed for a while and started having the problem again. Sent it back for
repairs and now it's back. When it went in for repairs, they did some
things for maintenance sake but when they tried to duplicate our problem the
Express just did a wonderful job. Now it's back and we still have our
problem.

On the even-sided pages, some pages will have a dot at the left-hand side of
the page and on the line following that dot there can be dots between words,
added dots to a letter, omitted characters in a letter, etc. Yesterday, I
wanted to emboss a book and decided to emboss 10 pages at a time and look at
each page before going on to emboss more. On page 6, second line, there's
the word Epilogue. It says Epilogue on the screen but comes out Epilogua
and there's another line on the page that has Chindren's and it has (I
think) capital, then dot 5, then a colon. On page 18, there are two lines
where there are added dots between words. I embossed several copies of
these pages and sometimes there's one line deformed and sometimes 2 on page
18. Our challenge is to find out what the problem is. And it's not just
this file. I can do emails, find stuff on the Internet, make up files,
whatever and we just never know what file will have this problem. And
everytime I do those pages, there is some kind of problem. There are no
unusual codes--I already checked--

But I desperately need to get books into our collection and I can't emboss a
perfect copy and can't send books to our proofreader because there are
always problems with certain pages.

If anybody has any ideas, please tell me. We are working with Enabling but
so far there's just no idea what's causing this.

Thanks and I didn't make this up, honest!! <g<
