Hi Deb,

I don't think conditional page break will help here because I don't want to go to a new page. I'm really looking for a code that says, "print whatever follows if it is anything but the first line on a page." Thus far, I haven't found anything like that, and it seems that no one else has either. Nevertheless, I keep hoping.

Steve, I'm just now getting back in here so maybe you already solved the
problem of how to keep the centered line with colons from being the first
line on a paage. But could you use the conditional page (C) in some way to
help you with this problem?

thanks for the info and I'll store this for the _next time I need those
dotted lines.

Subject: [duxuser] How to suppress printing at the top of the page

Hi everyone,

I've created the following style to print a centered line of dots 2-5 in a
braille document, and a centered line of equal signs (=) in a print
document:

[hds0][ifbrl][d~333333333333][ifprt][d~====================][hde]

The style works as it should, except when preceded immediately by a page
break. Does anyone have any ideas for fixing the style so it won't print
or emboss as the first line of a page? I keep thinking I should know how
to do this, but I'm not coming up with a solution.

Steve
