The problem is that embossers are used in such a wide variety of environments, some of which assume that software will control the embosser while others provide no software control at all. For example, an embosser may be connected to a Braille Lite which simply sends data out the serial port. I know you know all this, George, but I want to raise this point for others on the list.(How I wish these embosser manufacturers would produce a dumb stupid printer, and let the software do the work!!!)
