Hi George,

The left-hand tractor is to the far left. Any more left and we would have to
call it something political. This afternoon I set the Juliet to the default
setting, went to Duxbury as set the top margin to 1 and the binding offset
margin to 3. Perfect! I am happy.

Francis

  Hi Francis,

The first question I would ask is whether or not the left hand tractor is as
far left as it should be? If it is, then setting a left margin in DBT's Global
Embosser Setup may well help here.

  George.

Subject: [duxuser] Juliet Classic and Duxbury

  Hello all,

I am setting up Duxbury 10.6 with a used Juliet Classic. It will do
interpoint, although the operator does not want that as the default. I know
how to set that in Duxbury.

I want to use Menu 1 for the default menu for the Juliet. As it is right
now, when I did a test run, the braille document embossed way too far to the
left, over the binding slots. It also started printing extremely close to the
top of the paper.

Do I set the embossing defaults for the binding offset and page top on the
Juliet and let Duxbury print to them, or do I set the binding offset and page
top in the Global defaults and document settings in Duxbury? I suspect I would
have to control the Juliet through Duxbury, but I'm not sure of this.

I have the Juliet manual at work, so cannot check settings here at home.

Thank you, if someone has any suggestions.

  Francis Daniels
