Are there any Duxbury templates that cause a paragraph to start at cell
one? I know I can make one, but wondered if there is already something
in place for America.

Betsy and Rick,

The difference between [l] and [<] is that [l] causes a conditional line
break and [<] always causes a line break. Thus, if you use several [l]
codes in succession, you'll only get one line break, and the rest of the
codes will be ignored. The difference is explained in the Quick Codes
Reference section under Help.
