Hi George,

thanks for your response but in this instance the suggestions of your Tech
Department do not appear to have solved my problems.

In recent months, and on several occasions, I have tried manually with
explorer deleting all the DBT files out of my windows Temp directory as the
suggestions in the "more details" button suggests but this seems to make no
difference. I can then go back with explorer into the windows temp directory
and see that there are no remaining DBT files other than one DBT directory
which appears to hold seven files none beginning with DBT.

However, when I go back and again open DBT I still get the same message.

Your tech people are probably on the right track though in saying that this
problem may be caused by crashing with DBT open or not closing windows
properly
as I find that from time to time when using combinations of DBT, Word and JFW,
my computer often locks up and I am forced to re-start without having properly
shut down programmes previously.

My next move will be to remove Swifter from my office start menu and see if
this does the trick.

Fortunately the problem is more of an inconvenience than anything else and one
which I know should not be occuring.

Thanks for your help

Christine

following back from the software department. I suspect you may have some zero
length temporary files kicking about, which hopefully, you will be able to
manually delete.
