Hi George, I found that many .pdf files had to be converted to either html or txt to make it readable. Sometimes I use Open Book Unbound to access it, other times I use the converter that came with the acrobat 5.0 program but most of the time I send the files to either pdf2txt@xxxxxxxxx or pdf2txt@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This latter works best especially if you are obtaining a schedule of classes to be held on college campus. It contains many columns and the last method is what I use to convert those files. I believe it is sometimes difficult to get accessible .pdf in whatever way it was created. I hope this may help someday. --------- "It's not over until I win!!!" -- Les Brown Lisa Hall San Antonio, Texas e-mail and via msn at lhall10@xxxxxxxxxxx New personal home page: http://home.satx.rr.com/lisahall ----- Original Message ----- From: "George Bell" <george@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, April 21, 2003 5:53 PM Subject: [duxuser] PDF Files > I don't want everyone getting too excited, or hot and sticky > about this news just yet, but I may use the fact that I'm > taking time out to test it, as an excuse for not doing > something else - like mowing the lawn.
