Kathleen's advice here is absolutely spot on! "I have found that *when discrepancies are reported*, you will find these corrected in the next update, which is a very good reason for keeping your DBT up to date." We always encourage our own users here in the UK to report oddities which are found. Actual braille translation errors do amazingly arise from time to time, and doubtless we may well see a few more occur as Unified English Braille comes into greater use. However many formatting issues still arise, and these do cause me personally concern if they are not reported, and DBT is simply blamed for the problem(s). In the vast majority of cases, the problems occur in the original document, and can often be hard to track down - even for me after 20 odd years of using the likes of Word for Windows. That's why it's helpful to see the original document before it is brought in to DBT. Once an issue has been found, if it can be fixed in the original, everyone can be happy and will hopefully have learned from it. If not, I have always found Duxbury willing to dig deeper
