Hi Ann,
Are you sure the characters in your document are asterisks rather than
invalid characters that DBT is displaying as asterisks? You can check this
by turning on "Use verbose labels for non-ANSI characters in coded view"
under Global, View Preferences, then entering coded view. If they are
invalid characters, they will now display as something other than asterisks.

I can not get search and replace to work in dbt 10.5. When I search, I
get a message that the search string was not found, even when I copy and
paste in the string. I was looking for asterisks in a document and they
were clearly there, but could not find them. This is an ongoing
problem.
