[duxuser] Re: Search and replace not working in dbt 10.5

So, if it turns out to be my problem, when I copy and paste those
characters into the search and replace feature, will they be found?

Hi Ann,

Are you sure the characters in your document are asterisks rather than
invalid characters that DBT is displaying as asterisks?  You can check
this by turning on "Use verbose labels for non-ANSI characters in coded
view" 
under Global, View Preferences, then entering coded view.  If they are
invalid characters, they will now display as something other than
asterisks.
