'Mornin' all
We get the same problem on a "Bookmaker" on a network, but only on some
of our computers and not others (all connected to the same network with
the same drivers and settings, on XP and DBT 10.5 ... although, some are
Dell and others HP). Maybe it's to do with the network cards themselves?
I have just had a change of computer, my old one was fine but the new
one is causing the same prob.
Alan

Thanks, Fina. I had a feeling it was to do with the network. My other
problem I mentioned on the list last week or so was about jaws speaking
fragments of the status line every time I arrow through the doc. One of
our helpdesk guys found a script on a German website for my particular
braille display, which is a handi tech mod 80, and I can now toggle off
and on that irritating announcement. Can someone at Duxbury please
forward this to Don. He told me he had heard of this problem, but
didn't know how to address it. Also, to Karen Navy.

Hello ann and Listers,

I spoke to someone who does allot of networking and they seem to think
that it may have something to do with the printer settings in the
software.
Various embossers use different drivers. It was suggested that you might
want to go into Duxbury and check the printer settings.

Thanks for reading
