I use Duxbury for music braille. You are not entering the visual notes, you
are doing 6-key braille entry....absolutely you can use Duxbury for that! I am
a beginner when it comes to brailling music, so the only music I braille is
single line, single note music like for a baritone part or a soprano vocal part.
I wish you success!

Hi,
Yes I know the music code and I can do 6-key entry. Just wanted to double check
since I seem to recall reading messages on this list saying DBT could not
handle the music code.
Thanks.

Hello,
If you know the braille music code and your computer keyboard can do six key
entry I don’t see why you couldn’t do it with Duxbury.

Subject: [duxuser] Using DBT To Create A Music Score.
Hello All,
I want to create a few simple music scores that I have been working on and
wanted to check with this list if that is doable using DBT? I don’t have any of
the Dancing Dots software and at this time do not want to make the investment
in it. If I can’t use DBT to accomplish this, is Perky Duck a solution.
Thanks for any advice on how to best get this done.
