Ann and Steve,
Thanks for your patience with me. I'm older than either one of you so maybe
I get to say one more thing. I think life is too short to do something by
hand if you can automate it. Luckily I'm a programmer so I can usually write
my own program if I can't find a tool to do what I want.
However, if I weren't a programmer but were spending a lot of time doing
tedious or repetitive tasks, I'd try my darndest to find better tools. If I
couldn't find any existing tools, I'd find a programmer to write a custom
program for me. Computer science students and their professors are always
looking for interesting class projects. If you aren't near a college or
university with a computer science department, try your local high school.
