If you're using the Windows device, you might be able to look at your embosser in My Computer, or in the Printers folder to see what page you're sending to the embosser. That would give you some inkling of where you were in the document, but it still wouldn't be very accurate because the embosser would lag behind the page count. Also, the page count would be given in terms of print pages, which wouldn't be very relevant for an embosser. I think the only way you can get a reliable page count is to physically check the embosser to see what page it's working on, and that would be a big pain if the embosser is located in another room.
