Hi Kaari, I suspect you may need to get the Duxbury map files from Dolphin. They are listed toward the middle of the following page. http://www.dolphincomputeraccess.com/downloads/index.asp George. ________________________________ From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kaari Parrish Sent: 02 September 2006 01:09 To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxuser] braille display versus Supernova I really need some help here. I'm trying to get a braille display to work with Duxbury and Supernova. As soon as the display is faced with a translated braille file, all I get is gibberish. It's not a problem with the display, because mine, a borrowed display, and the onscreen virtual display all do this too. WinBraille seems to be okay as long as there's print on the screen, but turns weird when the file is translated. Duxbury won't respond at all with a print file. The display claims the file's blank. Then when translated, I get garbage. So how do I fix this? CAN I fix this? Can it be worked around? How? I'm looking forward to any help I can get, or I'm going to have to return a brand-new braille display as useless for the work I got it for. Thanks lots in advance... Kaari Parrish
