What country are you in?

Was the braille display purchased in your country?

And what version of DBT WIN are you using?

 

I am asking because if you were in Norway for instance you would need to 

change the "braille code for display" setting in DBT Win, under
GLOBAL>INTERNATIONALIZATION settings.

Nope. Sorry, but I tried that already. In fact, my husband figured that
might be the problem and I now have a brand-new copy of the very latest
release of Supernova. All the map files are good. I told you this was
frustrating.

I suspect you may need to get the Duxbury map files from Dolphin.  They are
listed toward the middle of the following page.
