[duxuser] changing path for default directory

I want to change the directory where my files are stored by default in Duxbury.
I know that I open the duxbury.ini file, but when I went to save it after
making the change, I was prompted to give it a filename and in Duxbury you
can't give a file the same name if it is open. What step am I missing/
