Hi Lisette,
That character is not actually a hyphen, so DBT won't translate it unless
you change it. I'd try finding that character in the DBT print document,
selecting it, copying it to the clipboard, and pasting it in as the first
argument in the Find/Replace dialog.

I assumed DBT would translate them as the braille dash, but instead it translated them as a ch sign followed by two in signs, which I think is the braille asterisk or something like it. I don't know what version of word was used to create the original document, but I'm using dbt 10.4. Is this something which happens with certain versions of word?
