I'll attend a bit to your second question. You can turn a lot of gibberish off in the html optins of configuration manager of jaws. The keystrokes are quite good but the information can still be overwhelming. With practice though, it is easy to use ie with jaws. One keystroke that can be quite usefull to get to the meat of the page or at least to attempt to do so is ins+tab which takes you to the first string of 25 characters (by default which can be changed) of non element text. This often is where the meat of the page begins but if not, pres ins+tab again and see where you land. I jaws 4.51, there are many new enhancements that make the reading experience even better. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Neall, Nita" <Neall.N@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2003 2:09 PM Subject: [duxuser] Re: hard returns and Jaws I think it's about my question--a two-parter--about hard returns (bad) and also about maneuvering through websites using Jaws. The response...which was really helpful, listed many of the keyboard commands for doing so & it must have looked daunting.
