What are teachers using to teach students the Nemeth code in public schools? Is there a series for math like Patterns is for Literary?

Mathetmatically speaking,7 - -1 = ? is the same as 7 + 1 = ?You cannot "drop" one of the subtraction symbols, because it would change the nature of the question. Instead, you would probably be best to Braille it as7 - (-1) = ? ... keeping both negative signs but putting the negative one in brackets.This is coming from someone who used Nemeth throughout high school and first-year university courses, but who has no official 'transcribers' training or anything of the sort.
