Betsy: That same thing, I mean almost the same, happened to me when I opened a
word document in dbt. Where they had put in some bullets, dbt put the number
sign, but when I tried doing a search and replace for that number sign, it was
not found.

Aloha Listers,

We are running DBT 10.4, Windows ME or XP, and Word 2000 or the XP version
of Office. I give both because we have two computers running different
software.

We recently had a document with 28 tables. We converted them to text and
asked that the information be separated with commas. There were some blanks
in the tables.  The converter replaced the blanks with {'}

We could not search for this code. We wanted to replace the code with the
word blank. The code remained the same in the translated document. Any
ideas how the solve this one?
Betsy
