Hi Betsey,
The code you're trying to find is ['], which is a hard space. To get rid
of it, go to the Find/Replace dialogue, making sure that you have pressed
Alt-F3 to show DBT codes. Then, press Control-Left-Bracket and enter the
apostrophe. Then, press the Tab key to get to the "Replace with:"
prompt. You can then either enter something to replace the hard spaces, or
press the Tab key again to replace the hard space with nothing. You should
then be able to finish the Find/Replace dialogue as you would for any other
replacement.
I think you were having trouble finding the codes because you were looking
for braces, which are not part of any DBT code. Good luck.
