Jean, I purposely didn't put an outline style in the template, for a number of reasons I won't go into here. You can add your own outline style to DBT. The codes to use are below. I think you have experience with adding styles, so I won't go through the step-by-step, but let me know if you need further info. Beginning Codes: [hi3:1:0:2:0] Ending Codes: [hi]I'm assuming you want to do your initial work in Word. Rather than creatingmultiple new styles in Word and mapping them to new styles in DBT, the easiest thing to do is use Word's Exercise with subentries, and then once you open the file in DBT you can find/replace the exercise style withoutline. Assuming you name your new style outline, here are the steps (makesure you can see codes). F6 Text to find: E2-ExerciseMultiIndent. Replace with: outline. Make sure you check the "Replace stylename" option. If this is the only time you think you'll use the outline style, you can add the style to the document only. If you plan on using it again in the future, you'll want to add the new style and create a new template. Subentries in cell 5 with runnovers in cell 1, sub-subentries in 7-1, etc. The DBT English Textbook de Bana and Word templates do not have numberedstyles for 5-1, 7-1, etc. I can obviously use spaces or something, but mightthese styles be added in an upcoming DBT release?
