Just Curious, I am. Does Duxbury only allow for a certain number of
installations for each licence purchased, or are there an unlimited number
of installations, with the Internet keeping track of how many user
installations are being performed under a single user licence?
Around my house, I have two desk-tops and two lap-tops that could run DBT,
and at work, I could put it on another desk-top. Since I have never
purchased anything after DOS went the way of the Dodo, I can install DBT
for DOS on as many machines as I need Too, provided that I only use it on
one machine at a time. Is the Windows DBT a bit more restricted?

I have a desktop computer and just got a laptop donated for when I travel. I have a license and have 10.5 on my desktop computer. Now I want to also have the program on my laptop. I don't understand the deactivate information. I want to use the program on both my computers. To further complicate things. The donated laptop is windows 98 and I have xp on the desktop computer. I tried to load the program on the laptop but it would only let me load 10.3. I then downloaded the 10.5 from the web with my license number but then it said something about deactivating and I got lost in what to do.
This may not be an issue for this forum but perhaps others have this problem too.
