Dear Fina,

I read George's post, but he said that there is a way to do it with DBT as
well and I was curious to know how to do it.

: Hi tery,
:
: Here's my response from George regarding "read only" files.
:
: Hope this helps!

: You can't do this in DBT, but it's possible another way.
: Go in to My Computer, and locate the file/folder.
: Highlight the file you want to write protect. Right click, and select
: Properties. Tab down to the "Read Only" check box, and check it. Click
on
: O.K.

: Hello Listers,
: I was wondering if anybody could tell me if it's possible, in duxbury, to
: save files in "read only" format so that nobody can go in and edit or
alter
: the
: files in any way.
: I know how to do this in word but wasn't sure whether it would carry over
to
: Duxbury once taken in to be translated into braille. I have some books i
: need
: to save as read only text files and don't them to be edited or altered in
: any way.
: Thanks in advance.
: Regards,
