Hi Ann,
The VersaPoint Duo is really a Juliet in a slightly different case with a
couple of extra controls. I believe one of these controls is a switch to
turn interpoint embossing on and off. You may have to look on the back,
but I believe the switch is labeled in braille. In the event that you
can't find the switch, here's how to accomplish your goal from within the
menus:
1. Take the embosser off line.
2. Assuming that you're using Menu 1, enter 0.1 E where E is the Enter key
just to the right of the 0.
3. To turn interpoint off, type 33.1 E.
4. Exit the menu by typing 1.1 E. This saves your settings and puts the
embosser back on line.
To turn interpoint back on, follow the instructions above, but when you get
to step 3, type 33.0 E.
If you're interested, I have an ASCII version of the Juliet Reference
Manual, and I'll be happy to send it to you as an attachment. It's a bit
technical in places, but you'll find all sorts of information that you
won't find even in the VP Duo User's Manual. Now I sound like one of those
late-night TV ads <grin>.
