Hello Steve,

I have a VersaPoint Duo and the switch to make it braille single-sided is located to the left of the keypadright above the on/off line button. Unfortunately, my embosser is atthis moment, in a box being ready to get hsipped off to get worked on so i can't try this but i don't think you have to go to the trouble of going into the menus to turn interpoint off. I hardly ever use it in this way so i may be wrong about that but am sure of where the switch is located.

Also, on the VersaPoint, you don't have an e key, you do the menus the same as far as how you go in and out of them but instead of pressing the e key, you press for example; 0 star 1pound. The keypad is also different than the juliet in that the keypad is reversed; your 1 2 3 is up at the top instead of the bottom of the keypad like on the Juliet. I have a VersaPoint and my husband has a Juliet Pro.

Hope this helps,

Respectfully,
Fina Currey
