Hi Ed,

This is a tricky one, which does not appear to be made clear
in either BANA's or BAUK's rules.

Essentially in print, a hyphen is unspaced, and a dash is
spaced.

For example:-

Jean-Luc Picard - appears in Star Treck.

There would be no space and a single hyphen in the name, but
there would be spaces and a double dash between the name and
the word "appears".

I'm sure Warren will be able to clarify this better in BANA
terms.

George.

Subject: [duxuser] space hyphen space comes out with 2
hyphens

Why does a space hyphen space combination translate into
space 2 hyphens space. How do I stop that?

Thanks
Ed Lehman
