Hi Ed, This is a tricky one, which does not appear to be made clear in either BANA's or BAUK's rules. Essentially in print, a hyphen is unspaced, and a dash is spaced. For example:- Jean-Luc Picard - appears in Star Treck. There would be no space and a single hyphen in the name, but there would be spaces and a double dash between the name and the word "appears". I'm sure Warren will be able to clarify this better in BANA terms. George.
