Hello, Steve. It replaces the line breaks with a space, except at the paragraph boundaries. However, it has the suffistication not to do this if you have a file containing short lines of varying length, as, for example, would be the format of a poem. It even has the decency to substitute the poem style for the paragraph style when encountering that type of format.
