Hi Albert,

You have a few choices here.

In DBT, an underscore before the word will produce dots 3,6 to signify an
underline.

However, take care to ensure you use the correct rules. Where there are four
or more words underlined, in bold, or italic, place 2 underscores in front of
the first word, and one in front of the last word.

For more details, (at least in 10.4) see Help, Codes Quick Reference and click
on the "SPECIAL PRINT-TEXT CODES" link.
You can also insert a DBT code (which of course is then hidden if ink print the
document. The following is the code explanation, but for Underline, the X is
replaced with a letter u.

[fts~X] -- Translation code, to signify the beginning of a bold (X=b) or italic
(X=i) typeform passage. These should be used for passages (words) only; see the
separate individual typeform indicators under "Special Print-Text Codes" below.
E.g. L.C.D. stands for [fts~b] Least Common Denominator [fte~b] means that the
words "Least Common Denominator" are in bold. [tcs] and [ts].
