Gross, (autocorrect for Groad, but also quite appropriate in this circumstance)
Is that the only thing limiting your memory?

I don’t remember him at all. Being stuck in the Country Club for 2 years
limited my memory of some things. Living next door to Mac Walling And Willie

was a great guy! Groad

Thanks for this Ed. I didn't recall at all that Mike had continued at A&M.
I don't ever remember seeing him on campus, but that doesn't mean anything.
His picture was in our fish "Aggieland", in his uniform.... Holmes, David
M., from Killeen... and again in the senior Aggieland as a non-reg.
As for the stoned dog... Knowing Mike, that was completely appropo'.....

Bill,
Great memory. I didn’t remember about the HOLMES towing thing. I do remember
his Camaro. He continued at A&M and likely graduated. Stuntz used to see him
all the time into our white belt years. Mike had a Chinese american
girlfriend named Colleen. And a dog that used to get stoned. The things we
know about each other in 73 to 77 are incriminating!
Whatever happened to Tom Reed?

Yeah, Mike Holmes was a free spirit. What I remember about him (and
correct me Edo if I'm wrong) was that either his father or grandfather had
developed and manufactured a towing system that was widely used on tow
trucks.... you could see them everywhere, had a big "HOLMES" across the
top. So, Mike didn't want for financial resources... had a pretty new
Camaro IIRC. I don't know how long into our fish year he lasted, but I do
know he didn't return in the fall of '74.
