control at the time OHCI is initialized and it not responding to the
handover request. It is possible that the reset after that leaves things
in a bad state.
Should I make debug builds of something, ohci maybe, to get more traces?

Unfortunately that BIOS doesn't offer anything to configure in this
regard.
