I've marked the two interesting documents as shared with the general

The was another IP proposal document. I guess I would call it the
orginal Cadence proposal that went through an amount of debate in our
extensions sc. You might want to look at that too... Just let me know.
As an alternative, you might want to join accellera and the vhdl tc so
that you can eavesdrop on the continuing saga of IP protection :-)
