Agenda
======

1) Opens:

Daylight Savings Time ends on 10/29.  Do we need to change our
meeting time?  I don't think so, I am just checking.


2) Review of ARs:

- Arpad and Mike Mirmak:  Read 1076c API spec that is being balloted
- Mike Mirmak:   Check copyright rules on 1076c distribution to this group.
- Mike LaBonte:  Post last meeting's PowerPoint presentation to the website.

- Mike LaBonte:  Macro Library Documentation. (Planned for November)


3) A short report on 1076c specification (Arpad)

   I still believe that we need to talk more about whether we need a
   NEW API for IBIS or not, since there is one already described in
   the Verilog-AMS specification, and another one is being balloted
   for VHDL (unfortunately not VHDL-AMS yet).  A decision factor may
   be that the *-AMS API-s can only talk to a simulation/simulator
   through an *-AMS model instance, but it may not be able to talk
   directly to the tool running the simulation itself.  From last
   week's presentation it was not entirely clear that the API had
   to be able to talk to the tool directly.

4) Continue our discussion on what changes (if any) the IBIS
   specification needs in order to support the API idea for high
   speed SERDES simulations.  There was some debate last week over
   what part of this flow is methodology which we do NOT want to be
   included in any specification.
