Just want to say that I use these settings as I wrote here and my emails are
showing oldest as I think of at the top of my inbox with the newest at
bottom,when new mail comes in,it is always at the bottom.
I remembered you saying you like to use classic view mail layout, I do not use
that,so wondering if this might be some of the issue with mail going the way
you like it?
Not saying you need to not use classic layout,just that it might not display
same for you as it does for me.

because it is defalt to go to the top of a list and that is where you have

More questions…every time I leave Apple mail and return to it, I am put at
the top of the list where my oldest message is. I have it set for new
messages to be at the bottom but am always returned to the older messages.
The Apple person tried this on his computer and got the same result. He says
it is typical behavior but it never was.
Any ideas how to fix this?
