I can still if i ignore the oddities keep my machine up and running for up to
30 days, but I hardly do that ef ever now.

machines up and running for weeks before needing a reboot. I could never do
that in Windows, so it was a nice luxury. However, with the last two versions
of OS on my iMac, I find that I need to reboot every few days to clear such
sluggishness. If there is a way to figure out how to do anything about it
beyond Apple needing to, please let me know.

I thought that might be the case but I would be the last person
to blame great knowledge.
As one who has written lots of bad programs in my life,
race conditions and off-by-one errors are extremely easy to
create without much thought.
