Yes I do remember the list being to help people. I wouldn't be here otherwise. and excuse me but, with all do respect, I wasn't coming down on him. I might have been very direct, that I'll give ya, but nothing more was intended. Don't take it so personally! I apologize if my directness came across as rude, but all I said was no, we weren't using that, and that I frankly thought very poorly of Heytel. I said flat out that he was entitled to his view. I don't see in the least bit how that was rude. Enlighten me off list how? cgilland1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I refuse to say anything further publicly on list regarding this, and any subsequent e-mails on list about it will be deleted. Have a great day. Garage Band: I'm obviously doing something wrong! All David did was to make a suggestion. Coming down on him for this was uncalled for and completely out of line. This is a list to help each other, remember? If you like Heytel better, I'm ok with that, but I don't. Frankly, I think, in my opinion at least, that it sucks! Garage Band: I'm obviously doing something wrong! I'll send you a message on voxer. regarding that. I just did this for fun to see if I could do it lol! and after all we all learn tools by doing the actin the tool does, or something. I'm not getting the saying right but I'll say this. We all learn by practicing and doing. so why not. Take care. On Mar 3, 2012, at 2:24 AM, Christohper-Mark Gilland wrote: Sarah, Can I say something honestly without sounding offensive? Your really darn good at doing classical stuff when you do it, however, I think your voice in my op9inion at least really isn't that cut out for it. I took a listen to this track that you sent the link to of This one's for the Girls... Sarah, by far and away, that has gotta be the best? track I think I ever! have heard you do! That! was in cr'r'redible! Excellent excelent job on the vocals! I could tell you worked very very hard on that. If you don't mind me asking, what was the setup you were using? I know obviously, a macbook Pro, if I remember correctly, but I meant audio wize... Like, was that done with the internal mike? If not, what type did you use? Were you going through an interface or a mixer of any sort? That's definitely the type sound I'm looking for. Unfortunately, my mixer and mike are over on a desk with no room for my macbook, and my other desk has a 22 inch TV on it, so I'm kind a running out of places to put my mixer. I'm gonna check with my mom and see if she knows any way we could make this work, but anyway... I was just wonderring what you'd recommend. I have a u s b wireless Logitech Clear Chat head set, but I find that the mike on it has a bit too much high end frequency, so my voice always sounds very peeny on it. I know that but that's just it, only to an extent. Chris. can be ajusted in GB to an extent, ************ You are subscribed to the mac4theblind mailing list.
