Guess I will have to dig around for this one. I have books that are in epub
format, whitch is what iBooks uses, and I need to get them in to iBooks.
hopefully iTunes ain't the onloy option

once the first import is done, you will use ibooks exclusively but some of us
already have ibooks on our ios devices and we got them through itunes so they
are on our macs or pcs no wait, ibooks is not available for the pc.

if open book is dimmed, it has not been imported or downloaded.
choose import from itunes in the file menu and once that has finished you
should be good to go.

OK, in iBooks, when I interact with a scroll area, after choosing a book
category, I can find the book I’d like to read, but neither vo space or command

So, how does one open a book?

so you must import the books into iTunes to read them in iBooks on the mac?
Thought we were cutting out the middle man with the app being on the mac.
