Thanks! Command -option-shift -v did the trick. I did not need to be in text
mode. That would make it plain text rather than RTF.

Perhaps you have some wisdom for this: When I do Command-P to print an email I
am viewing, it always comes out blank. I can paste it to text edit and print
it from there without an issue. Does the email text have to be selected before
print will work?
