Hi Carl,
My native language is French, German second , English only my third, so I am on slippery ground. But that's not so important and I hope everybody can understand me, even if I make some mistakes.
See you again in this Forum on the next 300 km milestone!
Salut !
Serge

Sorry, Serge that should be Dutch , French or German. What is your native language(s)?

    Hi Serge,

            I haven't put a computer on my Python so I guess I've
ridden about 7 hours & only about 30kms total, the first hours of
riding were measured in meters not kms! I have a long way to go!

I understand your thoughts about riding in traffic, at the
moment I can't imagine doing that, but 2 weeks ago I thought I
would never be able to ride it at all, now I can, so who knows
    with more practice?

Ron, unfortunately there are no cycle paths where I live,
some fairly quite roads though, so all hope is not lost of doing a
    "real" ride.

Serge, your English is 10000% (or more) better than my
Dutch or French!
     Regards, Carl.

        Hello Serge and Carl,

I once stated that it takes about 300 km of practice until
        beginners
feel safe on a python. This makes estimated 20 hours. Also one
        has to
bear in mind that it takes another 1000 km until full
        performance,
regarding skills and muscle adaption, can be reached.

        Cheers and Good Luck,
        Jürgen.
