Regarding switch debounce: no problems, but more because although I
just tested input "for fun" as it were, it's actually LCD display
driving that I'm using the library for, so it's all outgoing.
Your quite right - it was irresponsible of my to say "feel along"...
use a plastic needle/plastic tweezer/plectrum ... anything
non-conductive!
As for burn avoidance... have a bowl of ice cubes handy?! (Kids, this
is not qualified medical advice - you'll probably do more harm than
good. Your fingers are at risk if you take advice from me. Always
consult a physician.)
