I just run:
Sync;sync;sync

Then just pull the power. That has never caused any issues.

Subject: [raspberry-vi] Shutting down your Pi

Hello All,

I wondered how you guys shut down your Pi's?

As tradition, ctrl alt delete puts it in reboot mode. One of the first jobs
I do with Linux is to edit inittab to shutdown -h now. Other than changing
the ctrl alt delete behaviour, how do you shutdown your Pi's?

Thanks.
Gena
