Gena,
As Rill said, I have the MyCharge 6000. It is a 6000 milliamp hour (or 6 Amp
Hour) battery with built-in recharger. It has a USB connector and does a
great job powering the Pi and WiFi. It does not run for weeks like your
Toshiba did but I can get several hours.

I have not tried Bluetooth keyboards. I just use a full size USB keyboard.
Yes, it's larger than the Bluetooth but it works great.

Jim

Subject: [raspberry-vi] Making a Pi a portable device

Hello,

I noticed that someone wants to make their Pi a portable device. I wondered
if they had some tips from their experience?

Is there a battery that can be purchased specifically for the Pi, or do you
have to mess with a sldering iron?

What housing is being used?

Can we buy a braille keyboard and get the translation software? Such as that
used on the icon?

I see I am in luck, as one of the bluetooth dongles I have appear to be
compatible with the accessible arch distro. Or at least the output of lsusb
shows it. I just have to read up on the steps on getting it up and working.
