Hi,
As far as synthesizer source code goes, one thing I'd love to get my
hands on, though I doubt I ever will, is the emulator of the speech
synthesizer board Stephen Hawking used, built when they were trying to
save his voice since there were only two physical circuit boards in
existence, and both were showing signs of their age.

Did you call Randy of RC ask about cost of repair?
Although for that price a new one is probably a better deal.
Gaads Randy has been around for a long time, I learned 8080 assembly
from a series he did in, I think, popular electronics back in 1982.
Too bad he doesn't do a USB version.
