o yeah & I forgot, it should speak about 30 seconds after you apply
power, to the USB power jack, located right beside the HDMI connector,
giving you a bunch of boot-time messabges as it loads daemons & a ton of
other stuff...

Raspberry VI downloads page, both say they have console speech, I've then
written the image to the SD card but when I turn on the raspberry PI I

neither seem to work. Should it speak when the PI is turned on? Or is
there something I need to do to activate the speech? I'm using a raspberry

Any help would be much appreciated as really keen to get the PI up and
