Great for people who like the gui. I was able to go to the first console.
The voice was more annoying to me than espeak. And although much cleanly
running than fenrir on raspbian here. I felt limited.
I did note screen was on there making that one console into a good number of
screens.
And of course you can install your preferences etc. But I don't think that
will be my thing. Even if I could change the voice (which I probably can) I
felt limited.
I guess I am too used to having all the things I am used too.
I think though for the newbie linux user. Stormux will probably be a good
system.
Anyway. Same problem with fenrir. I type. It takes like a second for the key
to speak. I read something it buffers for a second before reading.
I don't really know what is worse. Espeak not silencing when I want it too.
Or fenrir not speaking as fast as espeakup.
Both slow me down as it stands right now. I will have to see what I can do.
There must be something because espeakup on archlinux x86 64 on my mini pc
runs fine. And so did debian. Albeit espeakup would crash in the middle of
reading something which doesn't happen at all on raspbian.
So I guess one takes what one can get.
