Hi all, At Monsanto Ponds outside of Columbia yesterday, I watched a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher do construction on its nest located directly over the roadway accross from viewing area #2. Look for the tree with the Solutia sign nailed to it. The nest will look like a knot in the branch-similar in appearance to a hummingbird's. Also at Monsanto Ponds-a couple of Brewer's blackbirds and Tree Swallows at viewing area #3. The swallows were circling the nest box that Bluebirds are currently using. At home I've got a one-legged robin hanging around in the front woods. Anna Varney Summertown, TN __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
