Strange as it may sound, I STILL have a Cerulean Warbler singing sporadically
early mornings in my yard in Jacksboro. (Campbell County, N of Knoxville (I am
up above Norris Lake- Lots of hardwoods as well as Locust trees which they like)
I do not recall hearing Ceruleans sing this late in the season. Mostly, he
sings the first part of the song, dropping off the last few notes quietly. I
have seen him well, even tried to photograph but he remains at the tops of the
Oaks.
It has been extremely foggy here early mornings as well as high humidity. Will
be paying close
attention to see how long he stays..
